Westbrook won it's 4th game of the season defeating Massabesic 4-1 at the Biddeford Ice Arena. Westbrook goalie Sean O'Leary turned away 32 Massabesic shots to earn the victory in net.
Westbrook's Joe Morse opened the scoring just 24 seconds into the game with a shot from the right circle off a pass from Jeremy Delaney. In the second period Jon Brannen's bouncing shot from the blue line found the back of the net giving Westbrook a 2-0 lead.
Jeremy Delaney scored late in the 2nd period to give Westbrook a 3-0 advantage at the break. Delaney added a his second goal of the game in the third period to finish the Westbrook scoring.
Massabesic managed a late goal to end O'Leary's shutout bid.
The Blazes next host Biddeford at 7:30 Wednesday night at USM before traveling to Brewer for a rematch at 4:10 PM Saturday.
